gingerhaze: One of the things I’m really interested to see in The Hobbit is the relationship between Legolas and Thranduil. Because Legolas has to have a reason to run off with a mixed group of non-elves to save a lot of non-elves, right? Mirkwood elves don’t seem to be the most open-minded. Of course this translates to Thranduil being SUPER RACIST DAD. “NO SON OF MINE WILL DATE A DWARF”
